About Me

I'm a 41 year old mom of seven.  That's his, mine, and ours.  Their ages range from 22 down to 9.  The 22 year old has made me a grandmother twice, and I'm excited to have more babies to love on!  :)  Three of our children live with us now (although that's always subject to change), and all three are currently homeschooling.

I'm a writer and photographer... or at least, I'm working on becoming published in those fields.  I have several different blogs, a few of them include:

This blog is about chronicling our steps to making our dream life, which includes being a full-time writer/photographer, following our dreams to become gypsies living full-time in an RV, and homeschooling our kids.  Sometimes we take steps forward, sometimes life pushes us back.  This is the blog that chronicles it all.

Inked in the South  I haven't had much time to update this lately, but hope to be doing so again soon.  I have a not-so-secret love of tattoos, and this site is all about tattoos.

Photos by Kim Earley blog and website.  The blog will be posts about how I create the photos that I do, what books I read to learn and hone my craft, and links to my photos for sale.  The website is my portfolio, with a variety of landscapes that can be purchased in addition to my portrait sittings.

You can also find me on Facebook.  Several of my blogs are imported there, and I have some of my photography there as well.  I'll be importing this blog to that page as well.  So, if you want to keep up with me, feel free to "like" me there.  :)

I have great children (and grandchildren) that keep me on my toes, a husband that loves me and supports me, and a wonderful extended family on both sides.

If you read any of Barbara Sher's books, I'm what's known as a Scanner.  Another term for it is a modern-day Renaissance (Wo)Man.  I do a little bit of everything, and I mean that very literally.

My favorite quote is:

Jack of all trades, master of none, though ofttimes better than master of one. -Geffray Mynshul (1618)

So, that's me!  :D
